WHAT DO OUR YEARS
OF INSTALLATION EXPERIENCE HAVE TO DO WITH YOUR CAR AND A NEW OVERDRIVE
TRANSMISSION?
From
the very first day of business operation, Bow Tie Overdrives has
offered our customers a full custom installation service.
It
quickly taught us three things:

1. Customers wanted their new transmission to act the way they thought
it should! This many times turned out to be very different from
the way we thought it should behave. This experience taught us early
on that the customer would ultimately be the final judge of whether
they liked a transmission or not. It didn't take us very long to
find out not everyone likes a hard light throttle upshift! Building
these overdrive correctly was the easy part!

2. We needed to
find products to help us get the transmission installed properly,
cooling systems set up correctly, gear shifters working, park neutral
safety systems, converter clutch control wiring, TV set up parts and
drive shaft modifications made. |

3. There
was a definite need to develop new products to help ourselves and
our customers get these transmissions installed and more importantly
stay together after they are installed. This lead to our own in house
product development. |
